Our Features and Amenities

Golf in general has rapidly grown in popularity over the past five years. The demand for more good public golf courses in Central Ohio has far exceeded the opening of new courses. Anyone who plays golf has seen the increase, especially in Union County with two new public courses that were built in the past ten years; the existing courses are heavily played every day of the week. Our plan is to build a public 18 hole par 72 golf course measuring around 6800 yards with four levels of tee boxes. Our philosophy will be to design and build the golf course into existing features of the land. We will be adding trees, ponds and other landscaping to add to the gently rolling country side. The golf course will be located at 17483 Robinson Road. This location provides easy access from the freeway. The club house is located 1000 to 1500 feet off of Robinson Road behind the existing farm buildings. We also have a new pavilion located to the left of the 1st Hole for picnic's and other outings which can be booked. Inside our Pro-Shop, we have plasma TV's, a bar/grill, and an outdoor sitting area for our guests to use while playing. Other amenities include our large putting green to warm up with before starting out, and also a cart beverage person for your on-course needs. Course Description:

• Bent grass Tees, greens and fairways
• Most Holes have four sets of Tee's
• Yardage from back tees measuring around 6800 yards
• Roughs will be a blend of blue grass and rye grass mix
• Irrigation will be a modified double row system
• Large greens averaging around 6600 square feet
• Large practice green
• Driving range will not be available at this time
• Course will be professionally manicured
• Five ponds where 8 holes come into play
• Average number of bunkers on the course
  

Pro shop and Bar/Grill

Our Pro Shop begins with our friendly and welcoming staff. While visiting Buck Ridge, you will notice the pride our employees take in providing each guest with prompt and personal service. We have everything you need to look and play your best. We have name brand golf balls, golf cleaning tools, accessories, club services, a new hat or glove, we offer a wide selection of high quality merchandise.  We carry brands such as Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade, Nike, Bridgestone, Precept and Top Flite.  If you are planning a golf outing at Buck Ridge, let our staff help you pick out the perfect souvenirs and prizes for your guests. We also offer an on-site bar and grill, with an outside eating area. We carry sandwiches that range from Turkey & Swiss to Ham & Cheese, Brats, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, and Chicken Salad. Assorted candy and candy bars are there for that quick energy boost. Beer is offered as well, but must be purchased on course. We have domestic and many other assorted kinds. We also offer gatorade and soda for your refreshment needs. Our Course cart person will also be on-site to assist with any on-course purchases. You can also stop back in before you leave to make your next tee time with us inside the clubhouse.
